cb360 gearing

Been Around the Block
Ive found a lot of threads about folks gearing longer for better highway cruising but haven't really found anything on shortening things up. I don't need nor want my bike to go 100, I want it to rip around the city streets. Any of you fellas running shorter gearing on a little Honda twin? What size sprockets and how do you like it?

CB360 needs a long downhill run, with the wind, laying flat on the tank and you might get the ton....

With a six speed transmission, closely spaced ratio's, re-sprocketing pretty much only affects 6th gear RPM and 1 st gear off the line...Everything in the middle would be about the same.....

With a relatively flat torque curve, there is not much to gain except maybe first gear. I personnally wouldn't mind a slightly lower first gear, but the rest is pretty much where it needs to be...
