CB360 head question (pics)

I just picked up a Cb360 head from a seller on here. I know nothing about the wear on the inside of these motors but this seems a bit excessive. I just want to know if its normal so I can stop worrying and move along with vapor blasting it. Thanks

Unfortunately those cam saddles are junk making the head junk.

I'd probably run them, but then keep an eye on it. Then again, I have my engine open all the time.

If you want something you can put together and then not worry about, that's not the head you want to use.

i think you're borrowing time with those... even the areas that aren't gouged have probably had significant metal transfer between them and the cam, so the size and surface material are anyone's guess, scrap it now so you don't have to scrap your bike later

Ive already sent it over to my buddy for clean up and a valve job. Im gonna run the piss out of it. If it stays together were good. If not, I pour even more money into the damn thing. lol
