CB360 idle

Hey guys.

My 360 Idles really low and sputters out sometimes. At times the only way I can keep it running is by keeping my hand on the throttle twisted just a tiny bit. Will the idle screw be the right thing for the job? If so... which one is it? I have a shop manual but couldn't really decern which one it was.

A pic would help :)

Yup. The idle screw is on the left side of the bike, on front most part of the carbs. Just play with that until you get a good idle speed.

Well didn't get to it at lunch. Cause I had an other question.

What RPM should I be running at while it's idling?

Mine runs about 1300-1500, but I need to sort the carbs a bit better, cause they ain't sync'd.

i get some idle problems too, but its only when the humidity has been dropping or raising really high, fluxuates about 300rpm. not much, but it bothers me. i dont know why it does that though....

mine usually runs a bt high at 1500-1700, but then it wants to die after it gets warmed up. does one turn it up more at cold so it right after warm up?
