Cb360 lower engine mount - rearsets

So the long bolt that holds the foot pegs, and doubles as the engine mount, is now too long with the pegs removed. What's the common solution to this? A new shorter bolt? Spacers?

Bump for an easy answer. Otherwise, I'm planning on trying to source a shorter one.

I simply cut off a small piece (a couple of cm's) off one side and cut some new threads.

Threaded rod, two lock washers and two cap nuts... or regular nuts if you want to see the ends of the rod.

Cut the rod to 9 1/2 inches, clean up the threads, washer and cap nut on each end. May need to trim off a little on each end if the cap nut bottoms out on the end of the rod.
