How did you fill the petcock mount holes when you creamed the tank?? I really like the orange, thats too bad to hear you have to blast it off and start over. Those shocks look really short now that they are mounted. Are they really soft or am I just seeing things?

When i kreemed the tank I sealed the petcock hole (mine screws onto the tank) using an old wine cork, cutting it down to size then using aluminum tape (shiny duct tape) to seal it up. Just make sure when you put the tank down on the ground/workbench you prop it up so it doesn't rest on the cork.

Ya, I'm really pissed I have to re-do the paint, but if I don't do it right im gonna end up leaving flakes of orange wherever I ride. As for the shocks, They are actually longer than the ones I had on the bike when i got it. They probably look short because they're SO BEEFY! They're actually so long that the tire still touches the ground when i put the centerstand up... As for the ride, I have NO idea what its gonna be like. I'll try to get a comparison picture tomorrow.
