cb360 Removing Rear Hoop?

Wanted to get a consensus on running a cb without the rear hoop. I am really new to motorcycles, and I would like to just remove the rear hoop. I love how it looks, and I trimmed up the rear fender so it has a nice clean look to it.

Will running without the stock slide in type hoop have any ill effects on the handling of the bike or compromise the safety in any way? It seems reasonably supported by the other cross supports, but I havn't really ever done anything with motorcycles before haha

Thanks for any input, this site has been nothing but helpfull so far

Quick shot of the rear end mock up, would like to just mount the turns closer to the rear shocks and put a small brat style rear tail light on the fender

There should be some sort of rear hoop out back to keep the rear end tied together. The bike may flex excessively otherwise. If anything, chop out a section, and weld the hoop back on. Just dont shorten it too much, otherwise you may have tire clearance issues.
