cb360; running, riding then pop and grind

Hey all.

so I was riding my 360 the other day when all of a sudden I feel a pop in the engine followed by some random grinding.

I stopped the engine and pushed it home

Got the head cover off and checked for a broken valve or anything odd there, no problem

Pulled the plugs and slowly turned the engine over, no grinding

Kicked the engine over, no grinding

Really kicked the engine hard and got her spinning, no problem

I think its somewhere in the lower end, maybe the clutch area; what do you all think?

I have not re-installed the head cover so there may still be a problem in the valves but im thinking not
