CB360 Speedo face plate color?

Howdy.

I'm trying to track down the name or code of the color on my cb360 speedo face plate. It's a dark blue-green sort of color.

Here's a picture (doesn't do the color justice)

And here's a bike that actually looks like it's painted a very similar color

If all else fails, I'll bust open my gauge and bring it to a paint shop... I don't want to eff it up in the process though.

Are you sure that's not just a faded black? Mine looks the same. I just thought it was faded all this time.

Might not be a bad idea to go ahead and open that thing up. It's a pretty common/quick mod. There's guides online if you just search for them on google.

There's a couple things you can do when you open it up.
1. Spray the inside of the housing white. This will improve the illumination at night time. You know how it works, white reflects light. etc...
2. Replace incandescent bulbs with LEDs. There's tons of websites out there that sell LEDs, and you can also use the place he recommends. Autolumination.com and superbrightleds.com are good, reliable options too. Here's the link the the article,

It's a tedious process, but since you're wanting something that I think you can only get if you crack the gauges open, might as well touch up some other things as well.

I don think there is a name or code for it. It's just the greenish they used on gauges. If you want to match it, you'll have to do it by eye.
