I bought this tank and seat new from a Honda dealer for a restoration project started 20 years ago that I never finished. It has been unwrapped for the photos shown, stored indoors and has never been mounted. It will fit years 1975-77. The key lock gas cap can be opened with the standard Honda key. There is no rust or damage of any kind. It does not come with the petcock. The drain has a factory cap that has not been removed.
The seat does not come with any mounting hardware.
This is a rare find for that correct restoration of one of the most unique and misunderstood Hondas of its time. I worked for a Honda dealer during those years and always loved the 400.
