CB400T etc Pod filter fix!

I've managed to track down a mod that works for CB's and anything else using the Keihin carbs found on the little twins.
A local supplier http://www.smebike.com with who i have no affiliation, offers a kit for our bikes that allows them to run pods with no detrimental effects!
On my own build it works really well.
Kit comprises of the following:
105 primary jets, 115 secondary jets, rubber plugs to block slow jet, gaskets in fills for slow jet, spacer rings for slides.
115 sounds small, but as the other parts are blocked off and modified it seems to be correct for my bike!
My bike is stock except for pods and small mufflers.

This works fine for me as supplied, jetting may not be right for everyones setup though as there are too many variables at work.
If you are having trouble trying to get your pods running well i urge you to try this!

Well it does seem to work and very well at that.
I have no hesitation throughout the rev range and it revs nice and cleanly.
Starts easily too.

my cb400 has pods and small mufflers as well, I can start mine almost no problem and it idles great but it never wants to rev out properly unless i play with the throttle. Got that chugging sound haha. hopefully this will get me close. Im thinking about doing a two into one exhaust though, wonder if it would still be a good buy.... So if i already have pods do i need to get kit 2?

Any more input/reviews on this kit?

I'm hoping to fabricate the parts that are included in the kit (minus the jets) and I could use any more info I can get. If anyone has specifics on the parts like dimensions, materials, photos, etc. it would make it a lot easier.

The main thing I'm missing is the thickness of the gasket under the air jet cover as well as the spacer ring for the slides. The rest I can figure out.

Thanks

Once I fixed the sticky slide I had this kit seemed to work great, bike ran excellent, then it snowed and bike is put away. If I can get to it I will pull the carbs and see if I can get you some measurements, but the kit is really not pricey if you look at buying jets, gasket, and finding a proper sized metal spacer ring for the slides.

That would be awesome, but no worries if you can't. I know it's a pain to pull the carbs. Yeah, the price seems really reasonable, I just have easy access to an entire shop of tools and materials so it would be fairly easy for me to fabricate any parts and I'm hoping to keep the spending to a minimum as I've put way more into the bike than I ever expected...

That's a most unusual kit. Do they supply plugs to block the primary AND secondary air jets or is the air jet cover actually the plug to cover both air jets? it's hard to tell from the picture and instructions posted above.

The CB350 carb is not listed so I suggest contacting the manufacturer. Also I have a CJ360 as well as a CB400 and they are very different carbs.

Did your kit come fit for both carbs or just 1? Your pick makes me think both, but the site only shows 1 and doesn't specify.
