cb450 clutch spring bolts

No torque spec given in my manual. It just says to tighten them....

Simple answer - not nearly as tight as you might imagine. use the shortest wrench you have and use two fingers max.

The right answer is of course to check the manual for torque on any 6mm bolt. It will be 3-4 ft pounds - that's below the level on our torque wrench.
 
There is a general torque spec for 6mm bolts, you use that.
I think MAX is 11ft/lbs
I'll check but I think 7~9ft lbs is enough (use an inch pound torque wrench, 84~96 in/lbs)
 
3-4 was the Suzuki recommendation. Honda specify 6-9 ft pounds for a 6mm bolt into steel as PJ suggested.
