CB450 Electric Start Removal Question

Just a quick question about removing the electric start from my 450.

I know I remove the sprockets and chain but do I completely remove the starter clutch or just take out the springs and such?

May as well just take the clutch out, the screws have a bad habit of coming loose and messing things up. Saves a small amount of weight as well.
