CB450 K6 Clutch Adjustment - Am I missing something?

Alright guys I think I've got a simple question here. I want to adjust my clutch lever to have more play at the end of the lever throw. If I'm not explaining this properly, see picture below.

As it sits now, there is no play whatsoever in the lever. As soon as I nudge it in at all, I can feel the clutch begin to disengage. This leads me to believe that it is not engaging completely in the first place. Further confirmation that the clutch is adjusted out too far: The "bottom" half-ish of the lever throw does nothing whatsoever, the clutch is completely disengaged through this entire portion.

I've read a couple resources on clutch adjustment (namely http://www.cb450stuff.com/manual/ClutchAjd.htm), and I understand it to be pretty simple, but I think I may be missing a piece, which could explain why my clutch is difficult to adjust.

The below image shows a lower adjuster and a lock nut:

This is what my bike looks like at that cable point:

Am I missing the adjuster?

Slide the rubber piece up. The head of the adjustment screw is under there. It looks as though you are nearly out of room for adjustment. Looks like you probably either need a new cable or a new clutch.

The term you want to use is "free play" and yes, you want approximately 2-3 mm of play between the lever base and the adjustment boss on the perch. This is a more accurate and consistent way to measure free play than the pic you show.

Yeah as soon as I posted the picture I noticed that the adjuster might be under there. Thanks for the quick reply. I will try adjusting the other points and will look into replacing the clutch/cable if I can't get anywhere.
