CB500/4 Hardtail Project

scotch

Who put coffee in my morning Baileys?
So i picked up a frame, tank, couple wheels, engine, a few partial racks of carbs and a "parts bike" (aka frame with wheel) for way too much money - but i just had to have it.

The frame is some kinda production from the 70'.

I also tacked together a dual disk front end using some spare parts i had laying around. Doing a few rough measurements i might be able to lace the stock CB hub onto a 21" hoop without having to do custom spokes.

I heard this hub was something special from the guy i bought the heap off of. Does anyone know anything about it?

I've got big plans for it, but i know the build is going to go painfully slow as i try to work it in between school, work, and a new baby. That, and i have no space to work. We'll see how she goes. Maybe this will give me some kind of motivation to keep slowly chipping away it.

This is the daily to keep me on two wheels while the hardtail is in the works, and in the background is the baby carriage (volvo).

Just laced a stock cb500 hub onto a 21" hoop using the stock cb spokes. It's only tacked together right now so i can pull it apart for paint in the future.
