Well, I started this in the Member Introductions, but I thought it was time to move it over here. Not much progress as time and funds have been short. but this is what i got so far.

First night I had it:

And here is my other bike, a 1980 honda trail 110 that I got 3 years ago. It had been sitting in my grandmother's barn for about 20 years (thankfully with all the fluids drained). I am currently attempting to re-upholster the seat.

ooohh, I'm in Frisco and Mysta2 is in Little Elm (5 minutes away from me). You should ride the bike up when you finish her.

What's the haps on the seat? Nice look!

CHris-I didn't know you were in Frisco-my inlaws are in the Del Webb up that way. Usually end up driving when I go up there though. Does that area have a good bike scene?

Nope, no scene. Just Mysta2, Sam and I building in the garage. Del Webb is 5 minutes away. PM me next time you come my way.

Love the Trail 110. I used to have a Trail 70 when I was a kid (can't remember what year it was) that looked just like it. Love to have it back to do up now.

The seat is actually one I ran across on ebay that I got for fairly cheap. It has a small tear on the back side, but I think I am just going to leave it alone. This weekend I think i am going to load up the frame, take it to the carwash by my house and power wash all the grime and grease and shit off of it. I would paint it this weekend, but what with this cold front blowing in and all, I don't think it will get warm enough to let me do so, then again, this is Texas!

ha ha ha i do that all the time! i also go to a local closed car wash when i strip my frames, this way i can put it in a big tub and strip the paint them blow all the crap off
