cb500t head pipes

I'm wanting to get a new set of head-pipes for my 76 CB500t, I was wondering if i could use sum off of a CB450 if so wat years and where can I find a new set or a good set of them. I wanna get rid of the collector box on mine and run new pipes and mufflers. thanks for Ur time.

The biggest (and to my belief only) difference between the 450 and 500t is the length of stroke the piston has. That affects the head, Piston and of course the crank arm. The exhaust header and the rest of the bike should be the same.

If I get rid of the collector box do I have to rejet the carbs

Good Question, I don't know. But your bike will tell you if you need to re-jet.
