I know this has been discussed already but in the future you have to include the fenders, fork brace and let the owner take them off if he likes. If he crashes because the tire threw a piece of gravel in his eye or because he got wobbly in a corner or at speed due to the lack of a fork brace he can sue you for negligence (not selling the bike with necessary safety equipment) and he will win. You would have to pay for the bike, all medical expenses and pain and suffering.
