CB550 Caliper Help

New Guys here..... Does anyone know if I can use another model or year caliper on my 75 cb550? I assume I can use a 74 to 79 CB550 caliper? But what about cb750 and so on?

I'am really having a hard time finding one.

Last I know I should know this, but do older motorcycles work like cars in the fact that if my bike was built in 10/1974, is it a 1975 or is a 1974.

yes you can use a different year the only different between the caliper is where the line connects
