Cb550 Re-Wire

Friend of mine has a CB550 he asked me to help him rewire. He bought a Sparck moto custom harness for it, and even though everything is fairly straightforward i still had a few questions.

1. Brown/white wires coming from the tac and speedo are for the backlight power. Should I be connecting this to the new black harness wires? Which I am assuming are 12V+
2. From the right hand switch controls: There is yellow/red which is obvious. Then there is a black/red, black/yellow that I am not sure where to connect. Both isn't on any wiring diagrams I can find, nor am I even sure if it was used on stock Hondas? Yall probably know better
3. Almost the same as question 1, the rear tail light connectors. Instead of a brown there is black, assuming brown should now go to black because it is 12v+.

1.) Yes. Black wires replace brown and brown/white
2.) Black/red is the headlight power wire from the right control, but black/yellow should be on the left. You can skip the black/red, but black/yellow should get plugged into black in the harness
3.) Correct.
