I am considering put rear sets on my 74 cb550 but Im trying to decide where to put em...has anyone put their rear sets where the passenger foot pegs are? My bike has clubmans on it. If you have other suggestions on location let me know too please

The best place to put them is where you feel comfortable. A lot of people use the passenger footpegs because the mount is already there...no fab work! When i put rearsets on my 450, i found the passenger pegs to be too far back. You might want to clamp vice grips to your frame in a few different spots and see where you feel comfy.
There is no right or wrong way...

everyone has their ideal position. But I found the passenger peg mounts to far back and awkward to get feet on. especially in heavy traffic.
found making mounts approx 4-5" back from stock peg location was ideal for me. But you'll want to find that sweet spot for you by playing around.

here is a link to a thread showing how I came up with the location of my rearsets-it might help.

Are you still making them and selling them? Also, do you have a picture with you on the bike showing the overall riding posture those rear sets make..i think that will be helpful
