Cb550 regulator/rectifier custom wiring

I have ran all my wiring on my 1976 cb550. Everything works besides the charging system. My wiring is about as simple as I could make it in my opinion. Instead of a key switch I used two toggle switches. The first toggle switch is powered directed off the positive battery terminal on the solenoid and when flipped into the on position, the toggle switch powers my ignition components and the second toggle switch. When the second toggle switch is flipped on the lights are powered on. I have hooked up my solid state reg/rec as shown. The yellows wires are connected together along with the white to the white from the stator. I have tried multiple locations with the black and red out of the reg/rec but, I'm getting excessive drain when the lights are powered on. Where should I local the red and black on this setup?

I'm hoping somewhere here can help me out so I can do finally take this bike for a ride and not have to call my buddy to pick me up.

Please don't critique my drawing ability and also any mistakes you see else where. This is an even more basic example of my wiring. I'm hoping it will give a good idea of what's going on. I'm thinking I may be pulling directly from the battery to much for the charging system to keep up? I have no idea. This is my first cafe build

I have a cb550 I am building with the Ricks rec/reg combo. The red I have hooked up to power, and the black is hooked up to ignition
 
Thanks for the reply. That is what I thought the wires belonged and had tried various locations. I had wire going to the stator grounded, therefore no voltage to activated my electromagnet. According to the meter, I am getting charge now.

Red is the power wire coming out of the Reg/Rec. The black wire is the "sense" wire from the regulator portion. It needs to be connected to switched power, somewhere it will be connected to total system voltage. This controls how much voltage the R/R sends to the field coil thereby controlling the charging systems output.
 
There should also be a green wire coming from the alternator that you don't have shown. This wire gets grounded.
