CB550F1 litle bit cafe racer

short introduction,
I'm Ben and I'm from europe, Dutchman

I'm a big fan off the Cb550 and have 2 off these bikes,
one is original but the other one is some kind of self bild home made caferacer.
its build up from parts from here and nowere... ;D

at this thime there is a comstar back wheel in the bike,
for the front I have also a comstar ready witch I want to swap compleet with the fork legs and brakes of a CB650
I'm not sure or I finally want to do this, doubting a litle .

there is at this moment a tempary engine because the original engine needs to be restored
and I'm planning to do a big bore with CB750 pistons wich wil make a smal 600cc ;D ;D
this will be a project witch takes longer time (smal budget available)

so far my introduction

I like this site and stil catching up with the lots of post that I'm finding interesting... stil lots of reading tho do

Welcome to the site bennus. Nice looking ride you have there. I actually like the look of different wheels on the front and back, always have. It's pretty common in the import car scene here in N.A.

How did you do that seat? Looks different than anything I've seen. More like a baloon or something.
Same with the taillight, looks like a turn signal off of something possibly?

I live in a smal village the nearest biggets town is Zwolle, its a litle bit the north east part of Holland

Hey Ben, welcome to the site. My whole family and most of my friends are of Dutch descent as well! My last name is Ryzebol (Rijzebol). Not a real common name over here in North America, but growing. Still have a bunch of relatives across the big pond as well. Both CB's look great! My dad had one just like your stock one back when I was a kid. Keep us posted on the progress of your builds!
