cb650 with cbr wheels

ok so my bike again is a cb650 (82) and it has a 19" front spoke wheel on it and a 17" rear wheel on it. im curious to know what it would take to make some cbr f/r wheels fit on it. would it just be a bolt up procedure? i assume id need some spacers or something. i keep finding sets for a decent price and would rather do a 17" f/r setup instead of the 19" up front.

i think they are too wide... have to replace forks/trees/brakes/rear swing arm. its possible though...

what are my options as far as keeping the bike as is? ive seen the comstar wheels, those arent too bad, but id have to pick and choose. i like how some of them have the rounded spokes instead of the reverse curve.

anything from the period should work... just measure and try.

do the cbr wheels! it would look SICK... mating up the front end and swinger are easier then youd think, plus you would get a weight drop and HUGE handling gain.

yea id really like to do some cbr wheels because i love the look of the 3 spoke allow wheels, 17's f/r.

anybody do this mod? do you have any more info on this rocan? i mean, im pretty good with tools, took machining for 3 yrs, metals shop for 2 and i went to school for custom fabrication, id just like to not have the bike down for too long so i keep cruisin.

well i was surfn on ebay and found a suzuki katana 600 wheel for $45 shipped, comes with rear rotor, perfect shape, no bends or anything. so i scooped it up and will give that a shot fitting that on my bike.
