I was lookin around on ebay and saw a set of '99-00 CBR600 carbs for sale. Kinda curious to see if anyone has tried swapping in more modern flat slide carbs from a newer bike
Possibly something like Bandit 600 / early GSXR750 carbs might fit. At least they are the right style (not down draft). The manifold spacing will probably be different though....and then there's the re-jetting....
I knew I'd have to re-jet it, but theres a motorcycle shop that deals in custom tunes right down the street from me so I was just gonna have them dial it in. didn't know about the down draft part though so you just saved me a headache, thanks!
