Cb750 Dual Carb Intake Design

Can we talk about the lack of fenders and a proper fork brace after this?....lol

What are the carbs on the bike now not doing well?
Normally I'm not any more into stacks on the road then pods, but maybe try some different length stacks? Search out the "anit pod" mod offered on the sohc4 board. Might give you a good idea.

There are no fenders/fork brace yet because I plan on making them, and I'm looking for some new metal shaping equipment. E-wheel and plannishing hammer.

I have an idea for making the box slightly larger and making some velocity stack type of intakes into the carbs.

The current carbs run very well at mid to high rpm. The problem is at lower rpm the bike stutters from what I am pretty sure is slide flutter. I've tried adjustments to pilot jets, screw and needle height. I also found that when cruising with the pods, crosswinds cause the bike to stutter as well.

I started on a mock up of my new design, I'll post it up when I get time.

As you learned, the stock airbox solves this issue. That's one of the drawbacks of pods.

You are headed in the right direction now.

Your bike is clean! Lov it. .. I have an idea for an 'air box' of sorts that I am planning to do when my carbs come in. It consists of runners from the carbs to a 'box' and one larger air filter at the entrance.
