OK, CB-ers. Here's my idiot move for the day. I'm hoping someone knows the answer or is willing to dig into his/her bike for me to find out.
I have a '77 CB750. There is a group of wires running from the silicon rectifier to an eight position terminal leading to the the AC generator inside the engine case. Only seven of the eight positions are being used. On the terminal closest to the AC generator, there are three yellow wires. I removed the wires and connector spades to clean them, and like a moron, I didn't note which wires were in which position. On the other end, the three yellow wires line up linearly. On the end I screwed up, they're in a triangle pattern. Can anyone please explain how the yellow wires are configured in that terminal? The wiring diagrams are 2D, so they really don't offer a solution.
