I currently have a CB750K1 with the original tank. I would like to use the later model, bigger tank found on the 77 and 78's K's. I do not want to use a F model tank. I know the front rubber mounts are identical but the rear rubber mount is different. I also have a custom seat so I'm not concerned about the stock seat fitting properly. Below are my questions because I can't seem to locate the info. thanks for the help.
1) Will the later model tank fit into the original mounting locations on my frame? (I assume the front mount locations are in the same location but since the later model tanks a little longer I am concerned about the rear tank mount location)
2) Will a Hondamatic tank fit on my frame? I would remove the sending unit from the tank
