I'm looking for ideas on how to mount two 2.5" gauges (speedo & tach) purchased from Dime City to my modified '81 CB750 F triple tree. I don't have pictures of mine so I nabbed a couple pics from someone selling a stock one on ebay. I've ground off the four mounting points marked with red arrows on mine and am having trouble coming up with alternative mounting points. If the triple tree were thicker / wasn't hollowed out on the bottom, I would just tap a couple holes... but there's not enough metal left.
If worst comes to worst, I can buy a new triple tree and leave the inner two mounting points intact. I just didn't like the way they looked and was relocating my ignition anyway.
