CB836 stiff crank

Been Around the Block
Hi guys,

I rebuilt my motor with a wiseco 836 and all new chains, bearings, seals, etc. (basically everything is new). I used fresh assembly lube on all moving parts and bearings. The crank is really hard to get started, I need to use wrench on the alternator bolt to free the crank but once it starts moving, I can rotate the crank either by turning the alternator with my hand or with the kick starter. If I let it sit for a few minutes, it sticks back up and I can't kick it or turn it over by hand until I free it up with the wrench again. I have cycled enough oil through the motor so the oil is getting to the head. Platigage the crank bearings and they're in the .038 vicinity and this happens regardless of the spark plugs being installed or not. It is perfectly smooth once it starts moving, not sticking or hitting, binding etc. Any ideas?

I have not, I was just priming the engine with oil before I put it in the frame. I'm a little concerned to install it at the moment.
