Cb900c Weak Spark Issue

The other day I picked up a super clean 1982 cb900c, this bike only has 4200 original miles, original everything, it sat in a basement garage the last 18 yrs, I am rebuilding the carbs and changing fluids, checking everything over, tested the spark and its weak at best. I put on my spark tester and barely a flicker, my first thought was maybe a crusty switch but, switch off no flicker, switch on small flicker. Its one owner and I was told it ran when parked, the owner got sick and could no longer ride is why it was parked. What else should I check? Anything get "sticky" from sitting? I thought this bike is electronic ignition but does it have points that could be corroded? Or maybe an ignition module that could be bad? Which wire is the "kill" wire, so I can disconnect and see if I just have a short? I'm not as familiar with bikes as I am cars so any help would be appreciated.

Also if this its in the wrong thread I apologize, seemed more engine than electrical because of ignition, but could go either way.

Any one got any advice? I ordered a service manual for the wiring diagram, but still checking stuff when I get time. could the coils have gone bad from sitting? Can't find corrosion anywhere on the bike or wiring, I'm kinda stumped

do a voltage test at the coils and make sure you have 12v

test resistance of plug caps and coils

test the pulser coils for output voltage during cranking

test for 12 volts at the ignitors

check all ground wires including the coils

check all connectors clean and apply dielectric grease
