went shopn for body filler to prep a couple dings in my tank before painting. read some threads about it and not much good said about BONDO, but suggested RAGE Gold by Everlast. Cant find it.

In canada Canadian Tires, NAPA, Partsource, all they carry is 3M Bondo brand. There is a BONDO Gold product.

Want something that wont crack in a year, and I dont need to apply a spot coat after. I want to fill, prime, paint (sand inbetween).

Can a Canadian recommend something I can buy locally?

Stay away from the consumer stores which you've been to if you want professional grade supplies. You need to locate body shop supply stores. Check out the Yellow Pages in your area for them.

how big are your dings in the tank : there is a type of semi metal epoxy available that is sold in a stick form. You break off a peice and roll it about in your hand so it reacts,,,it will feel like a very hard putty,,push this in to small dents(thumb size etc),,,sand and finish to paint.I have a 8 yr tank thats been modified(crashed) and this stuff has never popped out..I have used it on the job site to correct shoddy steel railing work done by out of province contracters(kunts),,,,,,anyways......it's good shyte

could I get away with using the Glazing & Spot Putty, the stuffed used to fill pin holes? My dents are not very big and shallow.

Mar glass,it's fiber glass reinforced filler,and have applied glaze putty over top to finish
