so i replaced the stator in my cb500t and it charges now but the other day i was looking at my exhaust pipes i noticed there's battery acid on them. is it over charging the battery? if so wat can i do to fix this?
Did you put a volt meter on the battery to see what it's charging at?
You should check the voltage at:
- key on engine not running (should be at about 12.5v)
- engine running at idle (should be at about 13.5v)
- engine running at 3500 rpm (should be at about 14.5v)
