chopped up ex500 1991

Picked up a cheap bike an EX500, had it as a winter project.
(mostly an excuse for drinking some beer with friends in the garage...)

Total cost about $1000

Nice, I like the after better, the EX500 is not that pretty but supposed to be rock solid. Love the choice of pipes. only thing I would do is loose the stripes on the side cover the pink isn;t going well with the Skull and cross bones on the tail ;D

I removed the vinyl from the original seat, then I cut of the seat base, foam and restapled the vinyl.
to get a shorter but still original comfy seat.
Easy to do since these bikes have a plastic base for the seat any saw will do
also need a decent staplegun.
then I added a cowl att the end which also hides all the electrics that was originally placed on the rear sides in the frame.
