Looking to get rid of the stock levers/switches and I'll need to get something going to replace the stock front brake switch. I've seen some use an early CL175 front brake cable with the built in switch, but I've had a tough time finding them.
What are some other front brake switch solutions with front drums?
I had the same question. I have no idea how I will get it to work. Have you found any info? Here is the lever I want. http://www.dimecitycycles.com/vintage-cafe-racer-caferacer-bobber-brat-chopper-custom-motorcycle-handlebar-parts-black-honda-cb-cl-shorty-race-style-brake-lever-perch-07-5001.html.
I think they have a brake perch with the pocket in it for the switch like on the original controls. Ask them. I don't know if the original switch will fit.
The thing is, the switch is pretty much destroyed now. It didn't come out very easily... The parts are on order so I'll see when I get there. I'll probably post about it in my thread.
