CL350 Jetting Question

Hey guys, I can't seem to find my answer, so I will post it here.

I just rebuilt my motor, I took my time and did a solid job, so hopefully its like new!

I am moving onto the carbs and doing the same, rebuilding them, cleaning them up and then I am going to throw a layer of gray paint to "renew" them.

But my question is concerning jets/needle. The old jets are caked, I want to simply replace them. I have looked around and I am finding a lot of different values for stock jetting.

The bike came in 15 different boxes with three motors and two frames. The title states its a 73 CL350. I don't know for sure if that is the same motor I used. The motor number states its a CL. The Cam is not the cam that came off this motor, it came off another CL motor, don't really know if that matters.

So, looking at all the charts the jet sizes vary depending on motor number and year. How do I decide which jets to use? Do I simply go by the motor number?

I am running pod filters, mainly because I don't have stock airfilters and there where a shiny new pair of pods sitting in the box. But I figured I would start with stock jets and go from there.

So anyhow, what size jets would you reccommend I start with? What about needles and such? Do I need to replace those? Mine don't look too bad, and the floats are perfect as well.

Thanks
Chad

#105 secondary and i think #70 or maybe it's #68 for primary main........check the manual....if that's what you've got in your box of goodies i'de just clean em up and maybe order new rubber gaskets.....the jets are only 2 bucks a piece new so either way you'll be good.

Jets vary depending on which engine the carbs came on, so you will have to do a little bit of research and process of elimination.

See the chart in this post - should help: http://www.dotheton.com/forum/index.php?topic=18930.0
