CL350 only starts with lights on

Messed around with the headlight wires in order to get the brakelight working. It works now but the bike only starts when the lights are on?

Anybody else ever encountered this problem? I have been digging into the wiring diagram but I'm stumped.

After starting does it quit if you turn the lights off?

you answered your own question......if it worked before you did something what did you do? recheck your work /schematic..
