CL350 REAR BRAKE HELP

THIS IS PROBLY A SILLY QUESTION AND I PROB COULD HAVE FIGURED IT OUT LAST NIGHT BEFORE IT GOT DARK BUT I GOT NEW TIRES AND I WAS PUTTING THE REAR RIM BACK ON AND WHEN I WAS ALL DONE HOOKING EVERYTHING UP THE REAR BRAKES WEREN'T WORKING... IS THERE A PROCEDURE TO PUTTING THE REAR RIM BACK ON SO THE DRUM BRAKE WORKS? ANY HELP OR GUIDENCE WOULD BE GREAT! THANKS!

Did you remove operating arm from brake plate instead of removing adjuster nut?

i figured it out... thanks guys! took the bike out last night... on the way to work this morning the shifter literally snapped in half when i was shifting... on to the next problem.... ugggggh! time to break out the welder

The shifter arm, or the shaft? If t=its the arm, buy another one. Dont bother welding it. Its not worth the time. You can get a new arm cheap.

it's the arm... i'm going to attempt to weld before i spend some sheckles... i'll pm you about the arm if it doesn't work out elliot... thanks!!!

Its made from cheap cast metal. It will break again. Just a heads up.

that is not good news... ;D i'm going to give it a shot... welding it cost me nothing... shifter $$$ i have an extra shift arm but its not the one with the linkage... the one with the linkage seamed to work better

I have the linkage version. Still let me know if you need it. It will be affordable.
