CL350 Scambler Project Handlebar advice

Hey Guys, I need some advise on handlebars for my CB350 that I am converting to a scrambler. What is the best looking and feeling setup? Renthals? Bitwell? Other? Risers needed for stand-up riding?

Please help a newb out.

I think any scrambler needs the low rise reinforced bars like on a stock CL450

on a couple of my bikes. Decent bar, great price. I got a set of Rentals on my KZ750 and they have a way better feel, but cost a lot more. I'll be picking up a second set of Rentals from my Triumph Scramber.

They say the diameter is 22mm, will that still work on my 7/8" bar triple tree?

Instead of purchasing those VMX bars just hit up Ebay for an OEM set of cl350 handlebars. They look to be exactly the same and you can get them for half the price. You're usually helping out another garage builder whenever you buy off ebay too (unless they're a parts stripper).

Just try what you feel is the best for it and become wise due to own mistakes. Bars are not rocketscience
