Whats the difference between CL and CB rear and front suspension? Is it possible to rescue rusted chrome suspension?

Tough to rescue if it is pitted. But if just surface rust try a bath of 1 part molasses to 10 parts water. Soak for 1 week. Works like a charm. Greg
