Re: 1969 Honda CL350 Type 1 cafe build! Riding Holly is going to be fun!
I scored $70.00 bucks today, so I was wondering what I should buy. In order for me to get her running I need, the coil wires, the stator and points housing screws, a battery, and fuel lines and fluids. I also need to finish my wiring but no biggie, so tell me what combo I should get!
Re: 1969 Honda CL350 Type 1 cafe build! Riding Holly is going to be fun!
Okay, those will work then, just be sure to silicone the new wires into the old coils because there will be nothing holding them in or insulating them when you put them on.
Re: 1969 Honda CL350 Type 1 cafe build! Riding Holly is going to be fun!
That was the plan bud! Well with the $70 bucks I bought fresh case cover bolts, a battery, and the coil wires. Looks like all I need now is fluids and fuel line and a switch for the time being because mine doesnt have a key.
Re: 1969 Honda CL350 Type 1 cafe build! Riding Holly is going to be fun!
Well dude's I purchased some things for $70.00 that I scored for selling some shit suspension springs from an old car. I bought a battery, Taylor Pro coil wires, and some stainless allen key stator and sproket cover bolts
Looks like now all I need to get for her to run is, a fuse holder, and a temporary switch. Then just gas and oil! I also managed to get myself another $70.00 today! So the question is should I buy a new wiring harness, or stick to the simple one and try to do it myself? Oh and what else should I try to get for the most bang out of my buck? Thanks -Jared

Well guys I attempted to start the bike and I discovered there were some deep cracks in the carbs. So Mikunis are what I am going to run. Sorry about the late update -Jared

Okay David. And I am pretty sure it sat outside for a few years. Oh well, they turned into some cool mechanical art though. And defiantly man, I plan on running either k&n's or velocity stacks with a two in one exhaust.

Yeah dudes, I haven't updated it lately. I have kinda bit going on. I am trying to get all my coast gurard stuff settled and what not. And I may be doing basic this summer so. Thats why I havent had anything going on the bike for awhile.

Don't think twice about it. Unfortunately sometimes life gets in the way of living.
When you get some time you'll get it sorted, and there will be folks around to help. It will all be worth it. Especially when all the coast guard girlies see the wicked bike you're cruising around on.
