CL360 engine build questions

it's 1am and I'm up with a headache. Don't think going to the garage is the best idea for my health and longevity, so I'll ask here where it's relevant.

Don't the case bolts come up from the bottom? Are you guys flipping the shortblock over (upside down) pulling the bolts, then flipping it back and separating the halves? or.....?

I flipped mine over. Lower case comes off, leaves transmission in place. This way I can pay attention to what part goes where. Reassembly is easier upside down too.

Yep, take top case bolts out, flip motor upside down and work on transmission. Unlike a few Suzuki's you don't need to take cylinders off to get to hidden bolts if all you want to do is work on transmission or kickstart

There is one long bolt that's on the opposite side though. Fools me every time.
