Cl360 runs good but won't start after a ride

Hi need some help i have a 74 cl360 with pods and will it runs and starts find but after a I ride it for a short time and after that it won't start tell it cools off what is up

Could be running really rich and fouling plugs or the coils could be fried.

Plugs are new and it will start after I let it sit for a 1/2 hour. The plugs look good to win I pull them out

Turn gas off about 1/4 mile before you stop.
It's probably running hot and fuel is evaporating then pooling in manifolds.
Float levels are probably too low

exact opposite, it's lean if it'll start after it cools down. with out changing plugs.
