CL360 with no key

Scarry Deuce

I saw this in a cartoon I think I can do it ....
The guy I got my CL360 from lost the key now I'm trying to figure out how to bypass it so I can start it and what I should do for a nwe Ignition Switch and Key ??

thanks

Pull the two wires from the back of the key switch, and hot start it. Or you can order a new key switch with key for a couple bucks on Ebay. Or you can order a new key through Honda. Or you can tap a small screwdriver into the cylinder and twist.

I was trying to hot wire it but it has four wires coming from the back of the Switch and i'm not having much luck
the wiring harness is a mess and I'm not sure if it's me or do I have a problem somewhere else ..

A while back I managed to break off the key in my 360. I Looked on eBay and found a new switch and key that I ordered. In the mean time I took the old switch off and took it apart by separating the "key part" from the "switch part" and then just used a screw driver to turn it on and off. The tank lid opens with any key, a screw driver, or about anything else anyway, but I did have to get in and take the seat latch apart to get the seat up. The replacement switch comes w/ a wire pigtail and a plug that hides under the tank. It's easy to unplug and replace once you have the new one.

Dime City Cycles has a new switch with keys that plugs right in the harness. I think it's around $10?

On the front of the lock is a number, like mine says T3645. There's tons of them all over ebay and few of the sellers have more than they list just send them message see if they can help out. Like this dude http://stores.ebay.com/Rigentinc-Cycle-Salvage If not then the was another place I found a while back http://www.scramblercycle.com/honda-keys-for-sale.html

I think the red needs to be connected to the black in order to get it hotwired. The red goes to the browns in park so the park lights turn on.

Another just FYI, there are only around 5 different shapes of key. I took my lock to an older Honda dealership and rummaged through a box full of keys and found a whole handful that worked as good or better than my original and picked up the two best ones.
