According to the previous owner of this jacket, it was purchased in the early/mid80s, worn once by his father, and then hung in a closet ever since. I have no trouble believing that because I cannot find any signs of wear. There are no creases in the arms, you can't even tell which belt notch was used... it is in as new condition. Made in Boston. The current, similar models are around $600
Very heavy leather with a non removable quilted lining. It's a little dusty in the pics and could probably use some conditioning, but there are no cracks, wear marks, blemishes... nothing to indicate it was ever used. The leather is stiff and heavy (not broken in) but supple.
Fit me well in the chest/sleeve length but is a bit too big in the waist. I'm 6'1", athletic 190. If you're a bigger dude, this could be perfect for you. Now you just have to spend the next 20 years breaking it in.
