Clutch Lever Spring Replacement for Honda Cb450 K3?

Does anyone know what size spring to get to replace the Clutch Lever Spring for the CB450 K3? I've read other people picking one up from the hardware store but have no idea on the length.

The OEM part number is: 22815-283-000. My local parts dealer, along with CMSNL say it's discontinued. Mine got twisted and snapped while I was pulling off the chain cover so I can't measure the original.

I edited a photo from another thread pointing at it, so as not to be confused with clutch springs.

I tried searching the forum and also hondatwins.net for this one, but can't find any measurements on the spring dimensions.

Still trying to find a suitable replacement for this sucker. DCC and all web retailers don't have them since they are d/c'ed. If anyone could check their's really quick, it would be much appreciated!

Honestly I would just go to the auto parts store and pick up an assortment pack of return springs and put the one in the is the best fit.

Thanks Lingo, I just ordered a 200-pc assortment to go that route as well. I know its not a precision part or anything, I was just hoping to stave off throwing the gear shifter/clutch lever tensions out of whack.

The only thing you will notice is in the lever pull. If it is too hard swap in a softer spring.
