CM250 Custom Cafe?

Hello,

I'm in the process of aquiring a Honda cm250 custom bike. I've never rode before, but i really dig the looks of these cafe bikes. I just can't imagine riding one with cafe bars. Isn't it more uncomfortable that sitting upright? Anyway, does anybody have a cm250 cafe? I've searched the site and haven't found any. I'd really like to see one.

well, riding with cafe bars (clubmans or clip-ons) isn't as comfortable as sitting in a barcalounger, but it's not uncomfortable either.

When I put clubmans on my bike I had my "dad" voice saying "now, the old posture was plenty comfortable, just because these look cool, don't go trying to convince yourself that you like them more..." but after just a day of riding with them I realized, wow, I really did like them a lot more, and they were very comfortable. A dropped posture gives you a more deliberate riding stance - when you go around corners it's you and your bike as one going around the corner, vs. you steering your bike around a corner. If you're going to buy the bike I'd try riding with the bars for a while before you decide if you like them or not.
