need some questions answered on my CM400 bobber built, i got my rear end chopped relocated shocks to lower the bike but with all these custom builts i saw on the forum i decided to make my bobber hard tail so here is some questions i got :

1. i'm a good mig welder i'm using 0.030 mm flux core wire can i chop the frame after the gas tank and weld the frame extensions straight to rear forks will it be strong enough of course i can use some hardware as well
2. is it better to lengthen the stock rear fork according to the new frame extensions or get the whole rear end done from scratch ?
3. how do i make the drive chain longer? buy longer chain or is there a method to lengthen it ?

here is some pics before, while and after how it is now :

I really cant answer your questions but why do you want to do this ? Your bike looks good the way it sits .

well it'll look longer and maybe i'll not need such a high handlebars as i'm tall myself almost 6.5 feet so this bike looks a bit small but i'm a beginner rider so i wanted something smaller to start BTW i just finished a new Z-bar bigger than i had you can see on the picture old one is further away as a comparison :

They usually are, just remove the castle nut (usually) on the indersise of the upper tree and pull the risers out to check.
