Figured id start up the build thread.
i dont have pics of when i first got it, but it sat since 92, due to a stretched chain. Luckily the tank and carbs were drained. heres after a cleaning and some diff bars. I put a new chain on and pods on it, fought for over 4 months on trying to get the carbs to work and get jetted, just gave up and went on ebay and bought 2 sets of carbs, got one cleaned and jetted and it works pretty good now! these carbs suck to work on. I need to find a differnt battery that i can hide int eh seat but for now this will do. Sofar only have about 400$ into it. bike only has 8k on it and seems to run really good. This is a stretch for me from going from having a zx9r with full TI akropovic exhaust head work differnt cam and jetted to perfection... had to sell to help pay for my wifes medical bills.
mocking up a seat pan. will mount using all stock mounting locations
after paintting up some wheels, just flipped the bars for now till i get a chance to build or buy some clip ons.
added a bit more to the seat and then made a peice of wood then glued foam to it, carved it down with a disc grinder then stretched some vinyl over it. added some more metal to the top of the rear part to add a bit more of the angle to it i wanted.
after 3 weeks i got my tail light in the mail and the seat all mounted , still waiting on the turn signals for the rear, ill grab a pic of the bikes progress later.
