Coffee is Delicous!

Been Around the Block
Just sitting at the office drinking my coffee & Scouring Craigslist & ebay.
Dying to find my next project, but nothing is turning up lately.

The prices some people ask are insane, and that reminds me of too many posts here from people who say "I never pay more than $1 per cc" which is also insane, but in between those 2 prices is the fair market value for a bike that needs a LOT of tlc...just ranting here wishing....

Coffee is delicious... I actually like to make cafe bustello espresso grind in my drip coffee maker. Its just so smooth and full of flavor. Doesn't break the bank either. Also works great for a cuban style coffee.

My go to coffee is Costco's Brand, Sumatran Blend. I make it strong enough to run a diesel motor.

I have been drinking it for the last 10 years at least - I have seen the price of the 3lb bag go from $5.99 to $16.99 currently, but still a good deal.

I have too much tied up in my coffee addiction. Rancilio Silvia / Rocky doserless and Technivorm at home, and an old Gaggia Baby/MDF setup at the office (got it really cheap on Kijiji).

My wifes doctor told me i should start thinking about drinking something other than only coffee and beer :(

My doc said I needed to quit soda&coffee or beer&coffee (Sugar and Caffeine) , guess which one I choose ;D quit coffee cold turky about 1.5 years ago, I drink tea now but I tell you when a good coffee is brewing I realllyyy have a hard time not having one.

Good coffee is priceless. I realized that after getting lunch at a French restaurant a few months ago, their coffee is incredible. They use Senseo, unfortunately the only place I can buy that is Amazon and that requires too much planning so I started buying Ikea espresso coffee. Strong and tastes great.

Doesn't tea have just as much or more caffeine in it? Unless I guess you only drink herbal tea.

Just recently spent a few months in the Philippines and coffee is their national drink. (similar to tea in China and Japan). Coffee is everywhere and DELICIOUS. I found myself drinking it 2-3 times a day ;D

Some of the best we had was in a VERY remote tribal village, they ground it up with like a mortar and pestle with a little bit of corn for sweetness. It was so dang tasty and super strong.

The last week we were there I went cold turkey. The first couple days were hard by not too bad after that. Now I really try and limit it to a few times a week, but its so dang good.

I buy Epic Espresso beans from 49th Parallel in Vancouver. Very nice and used by some of the best local shops in Toronto.

my lady works at starbucks, so we always get free coffee...... maybe not the best. its still better then maxwell house though. drink a full bodumin the morning and a full one when i get home. that might be why i constaintly have to whiten my teeth... or at least think about it. sometime i just have to pick up some tasty local brands. support the small guys and what not. but the price just keeps going up and up and up.

Yes, tea has more but you have tea and it takes 8-10 hours for the caffeine to release and pass, you have coffee and all the caffiene is processed in like 20 mins and shocks your system. so tea has more but less impact on my system all at once.

I am drinking my third cup right now. God awful shit that work has for free. Comes in individual bags. Each bag makes one pot. Who knows how long this ground coffee sat in bags back at the warehouse.

Luckily, the guy in the cube behind me roasts/grinds/brews great coffee once a week.

Perhaps you should start thinking about finding another doctor ;)

I rarely drink coffee. Or beer, really. Only have soft drinks occasionaly.
Green Tea is the weapon of choice these days.

I am having a big ass cup of joe right now and it is truly wonderful. One of my true pleasures in life. Love it.

If you want the best coffee in the world (I may be biased), look up my uncle's shop, Michael Thomas Coffee. He roasts and brews his own stuff, and ships 1 & 5 lb bags (whole bean or ground) worldwide. Google him, or if you're in Albuquerque, NM stop by his shop and tell him Chris Trotter sent you. ;)
