Coil Spark Plug Wire replacement

Okay trying to kill this one before I get to it. Has anyone ever replaced the sparkplug wires from stock Coile set. All the wires on any of my coils are very hard/cracked or the outer shell is cracked. I'd like some red wire too. I know I could paint, but can I replace them. Is there some cort of coupler? Has this question been anwered didnt find it with the search.

Most of the older coils just use an adhesive to hold the wires in. Just try to pry them out. if they are as bad as they sound you have nothing to lose. You might want to do a search for a replacement set of coils. If yours are old enough to have rotted wires the coils are most likely on the way out also. Nothing lasts forever.

Thanks, I will try on one of my coils. Does anyone know about any aftermarkt coils that are available. NOS is way to overpriced.

Yeah duhhh sorry for a CB350. Thanks

check your resistance on the coils, but the ones i linked to above might work :)

tis one less thing that will hamper starting the bike, i always replace the plugs and check the coil and spark plug wires after i buy a new project motorcycle or vehicle :) than again i have never bought a new motorcycle or vehicle ;D

check your resistance on the coils,

Good advice. as long as the resistance of the new coils is the same or higher then the stock ones they should work. if you get coils with a lower resistance they will pull to much current through your points or digital ignition box and burn them out.

Thanx guys the info helps. I'll have to do some research on the cb350 specs so I can shop for new ones.

I just used regular old generic 12 volt motorcycle coils. With a bit of modification they'll fit right where the OEM ones go. Got them at my local motorcycle shop for like $20 for the pair.

The green single wire coil looks like a Dynatek copy and cheaper. Should work fine.

This one?
